Islam Nusantara

Tulisan ini hanya uneg-uneg dari hasil kongkow minggu lalu tepatnya tanggal 2 Desember 2019 bareng Kyai Ahmad Baso. Intelektual muda NU pemberantas kadal gurun dan orang-orangan salju. Bagaimana uneg-uneg itu. Kurang lebih seperti dibawah ini;

“Bangsa yang besar adalah bangsa yang tidak melupakan jati dirinya” mungkin demikian deskripsi singkat nan populer yang sering kita dengar.  

Pertanyaan yang patut dijawab. Apa jati diri bangsa ini. Sebuah bangsa yang katanya gemah ripah loh jinawi. 

Kyai Ahmad Baso adalah jawaban -kalau ingin dikata adalah jawaban satu2nya- dari pertanyaan mengenai jati diri bangsa diatas. Menurutnya, jati diri bangsa ini adalah Islam dan Nusantara.

Mengapa demikian?

Karena gandengan kedua kata ini, Islam dan Nusantara membuat bangsa ini tidak seperti Jerman, Soviet, dan Arab yang saat ini mencar-mencar. Bangsa ini tetap satu, bukan dua, tiga apalagi duabelas. 

Mengapa demikian?

Karena nilai keislaman dan nilai kebangsaan sejatinya padu tidak mencar. 

Dari awal masuknya Islam oleh para wali, adalah dengan MELALUI “komitmen pengakuan ke-kita-an yang terumus dalam istilah NGAJAWI atau kebangsaan”. Islam masuk ke Nusantara bukan menghilangkan ke-kita-an tapi mempertahankannya sehingga lahirlah Indonesia. Dan kita seharusnya bangga karena bukti sejarah itu ada dalam literatur-literatur klasik ulama-ulama nusantara kita.

Kongkow bareng Kyai Ahmad Baso malam itu tidak hanya memberi wawasan baru juga tawa segar nan gurih khas ala kyai-kyai NU. Namun juga mengahadirkan kelucuan. Kelucuan? Ya, kelucuan yang sebenarnya tamparan bagi kaum cendikia bangsa ini.

Di saat hampir semua intelektual bangsa ini keranjingan merujuk literatur-literatur luar baik itu dari gurun arab ataupun salju eropa, Ahmad Baso justru mengkutatkan dirinya dengan tumpukan literatur -ngajawi- alias kenusantaraan. Ada hal yang tidak dimengerti para intelektual itu tapi dimengerti Ahmad Baso, yakni sekeren apapun literatur luar ketika tidak mampu memfusionisasi dirinya dengan Nusantara maka hanya akan melahirkan diksi dan narasi keren namun rapuh. 

Maka jangan heran disaat ini, di negara ini, banyak kaum cendikia entah itu membackgroundkan dirinya ke arab atau eropa, mereka seolah memberi jawaban atas segala persoalan bangsa namun sebenarnya sama sekali tidak memberi jawaban. 

Kita ambil contoh kubu arab (cendekia pemuja arab); kubu ini meyakini AD ART Negara ini harus berlandaskan syari’at agama, jika dulu Nabi s.a.w dan para sahabatnya menghukum seorang pencuri dengan potong tangan, maka negara ini wajib memotong tangan para pencuri itu. Jika dulu Nabi s.a.w memimpin pasukan 300 orang mengalahkan ribuan, maka seharusnya bangsa ini yakin bahwa mengalahkan Amerika itu cukup kembali kepada apa yang dilakukan Nabi dengan pasukan 300 orang itu, yang penting kita yakin bahwa khilafah adalah solusinya. Weleh-wleh ente yakin khilafah itu solatip eh solusi !

Contoh lain dari kubu eropa (cendikia pecinta istilah-istilah njelimet); kubu ini menganggap kubu diluar mereka sebagai penganut tradisi. Dunia ini berkembang maka harus dibarengi dengan teori-teori modern, dan teori ini berasal dari eropa. Maka modernisasi religiusitas akanisasi melahirkanisme apa yang disebut Michael Kongkomo sebagai perubahan konstruktif seperti apa yang diungkap Albert Gome-Gome. Pala lu ngomong sasi sasi. Fyuuh

Lagi-lagi, jawabannya tidak jauh-jauh, karena jawabannya ada kok di literatur kita, literatur ke-kita-an yang tertuang dalam diksi ngajawi alias bernusantara. 

Namun, masalah terjadi kemudian, ketika ke-kita-an yang dimaksud justru disalahpahami sebagai bentuk liberalisasi agama, bahkan dengan nada mengejek ke-kita-an itu disebut sebagai kejawenisasi (meminjam istilah kubu orang2an salju). Pada tataran inilah Ahmad Baso hadir, memberi penjelasan bahwa ke-kita-an yang dimaksud adalah ke-kita-an yang memang telah terkomitmeni oleh mereka-mereka yang membawa Islam hadir di Nusantara ini. Siapa mereka-mereka itu? Yang jelas mereka bukan orang-orang berjenggot tapi sinis, karena mereka itu berjenggot klimis namun berfikir dinamis. Mereka dari arab tapi bukan arab bermental kurma. Mereka adalah arab yang sangat-sangat paham bahwa kurma jika ditanam di kaki Gunung Merapi tidak bakal tumbuh dengan sempurna.
